Hey Lee! Thanks for having me.

What got you into playing Guitar and how old were you when you started?

My neighbour who used to babysit me and my sister when my mum went out. He had a dark blue squire strat and used to bring it around and play like Jackass episodes on VHS and play System Of A Down songs, that is what got me wanting to play guitar, I wanted to be like him. I only started playing because I thought it was cool, I was about 8 or 9, so at that age buying a CD for £10 was just something I couldn't afford, so I actually got into playing guitar before I was into music which is pretty weird. That year I begged my mum to get me a squire strat for Christmas and the rest is history!

Who’s your biggest influence as a Guitar player?

I'm not sure anymore honestly. Growing up when I was a teenager, probably Tom Searle. These days I find I'm more inspired by my friends than anyone else, I really love what my friend Connor Sweeney does, not only guitar wise but songwriting and post production wise.

I hear Graphic Nature has an earth shaking tuning, what do you tune to and which string gauge do you use?

We tune to Drop F on Chapman 28 inch scale guitars and we use Ernie Ball Baritone Slinkys which are 13-72 I believe.

Please can you talk us through your Guitar gear?

Sure! I use a Chapman ML1 V2 Baritone, which goes into my pedal board which is just a tuner and digitech whammy, that then goes into a HX stomp that runs our fx, which then goes into my Orange Thunderverb 50 paired with an Orange 4x12.

Do you enjoy any other genres of music outside of your chosen genre, if so which ones?

A lot of EDM music, Rap and Hip Hop. I love Drum and Bass, more liquid than jump up, but really enjoy all the beats in grime and drill music too, that stuff is a big inspiration.

Who are your favourite bands?

Currently really into thrown.

Favourite albums?

Currently, Loyle Carner - Hugo or his album Not Waving, But Drowning.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Writing music and eating food mostly!

Download Festival was incredible, so proud of everyone involved.

Any funny tour stories you can share with us?

Honestly we're pretty boring! We just like to play the show and get back to the travel lodge haha. None of us really drink or do anything wild, boring answer - sorry!
