LAMB OF GOD SET TO REISSUE THEIR ALBUMS WRATH AND RESOLUTION

No one has hoisted the banner for 21st-century American heavy metal higher or more vigorously than LAMB OF GOD. Hailing from Richmond, Virginia, this band has quietly risen as the foremost standard-bearers of the genre, fueled by an unbridled intensity forged in gritty basement gigs and honed to perfection on some of the globe's grandest stages.

Along their journey, they've garnered five GRAMMY® Award nominations, sold over 3 million albums worldwide, packed arenas across continents, and amassed over 1 billion streams—a remarkable feat for a band of such heavy caliber.

After igniting the scene with the incendiary "New American Gospel" in 2000, they solidified their status with the timeless masterpiece "As the Palaces Burn" in 2003, hailed by Rolling Stone as one of "The 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time." Following up with consecutive gold-certified records "Ashes of the Wake" [2004] and "Sacrament" [2005]—the latter crowned "Album of the Year" by Revolver—their ascent was unstoppable. "Wrath" [2009] soared to #2 on the Billboard 200, succeeded by the chart-topping entries "Resolution" [2012] and "VII: Sturm und Drang" [2015].

Metallica personally selected them as direct support on several tours, and they've collaborated with luminaries like Chino Moreno of Deftones and Chuck Billy of Testament. Their self-titled album in 2020 garnered widespread acclaim, setting the stage for the monumental release of "Omens" in 2022, marking their sixth consecutive Top 15 debut on the Billboard 200. Following this triumph, they embarked on an extensive North American tour alongside Pantera, further solidifying their stature.

Yet, amidst their achievements, LAMB OF GOD remains unwavering in their commitment to metal, embodying uncompromising integrity without apology.

Marking the fifteenth anniversary of LAMB OF GOD's ferocious 2009 album Wrath, the five-time Grammy-nominated metal titans are reissuing both Wrath and its impressive follow-up Resolution, originally released in 2012 before the most turbulent period in the band's history.

Fans of the band are no strangers to these blistering albums, which contain some of LAMB OF GOD's best-loved tracks performed live, notably "Contractor," "Set To Fail," "In Your Words," and "Ghost Walking." Three of those songs also scooped the band Grammy nominations for Best Metal Performance.

Produced by Josh Wilbur, both albums will be available on CD and on limited edition, coloured vinyl - Wrath as a yellow red split vinyl and Resolution as a natural black marble vinyl - from June 14, 2024 via Nuclear Blast Records, ex-North America. The CD formats will also contain 3 bonus tracks.

The Virginia, USA based band released their latest, ninth studio opus, the bruising 10-track Omens, in October 2022 to global critical acclaim. The group are currently gearing up for the co-headline, monster metal trek of the summer, the Ashes Of Leviathan Tour, with long-time friends Mastodon and special guests Kerry King and Malevolence. The tour will see Lamb Of God play their classic album Ashes Of The Wake in full, with Mastodon performing their epic LP Leviathan. The second installation of Lamb Of God's headlining cruise, Headbangers Boat, sets sail from Miami, Florida to the Dominican Republic in October 2024.
