Thanks a lot Lee Very proud and happy to be here Firstly, please can you tell us about the band you play Guitar in? ACT OF CREATION play an independent mixture of emotional melodic death and thrash metal, which not only stands out from the crowd due to the highly emotional vocals of the lead singer, Jess, but also for their unconventional interpretation of different styles. Since 2018 they have been able to achieve a high level of awareness with their insuppressible live power in the scene with an ever-increasing fan base, which has been further expanded under the flag of “Massacre Records” since 2022. The critics, organizers and fans sing from the same hymnal: “The band around front-woman Jess should not hide behind the big names of the scene, for they bring a breath of fresh air to hard-hitting metal!” The latest album “The Uncertain Light” was released in October 2020 under “MDD/Black Sunset” and has once again received great media acclaim. Intensive work is currently being done on a worthy successor, which will bring light into the darkness once more. What got you into playing Guitar?
I was inspired by my favorite music artists. Their passion for music and the way they could convey emotions through the instrument fascinated me and I knew I wanted to create that same kind of magic with a guitar in my hands! Plus the movie "School of Rock" played a big role in this. :) Can you remember the first riff you learnt? Metallica - Seek & Destroy! Do you play any other instruments? I play a little bit of piano, flute & drums. I see you’ve joined the Engl Amplification family, congratulations! Please can you tell us about that and your Engl of choice? Thanks a lot! I am truly proud to be a part of this family. I think Engl is shaping the metal world with their professionalism and killer tones! Huge thanks to the rhythm guitarist of Act of Creation, Carsten Schluch, for introducing me to the ENGL universe! I chose Engl Ironball SE as my weapon. It's versatility, powerful tone and exceptional build quality perfectly suit my musical style and needs. Please can you tell us which Guitars you use? I currently use ESP E-II Horizon for the Studio and ESP LTD EC-1000 for the live shows. Who or what is your biggest musical influence? Started listening to metal music with Metallica, Iron Maiden & System of a Down. However in the last 10 years melodic death metal has been my focus. Who are your favourite bands? Iron Maiden, System of a Down, Death Angel, Cradle of Filth, Be'lakor, Rotting Christ, Trivium, Gojira, Lamb of God, At the Gates, Deserted Fear, Septicflesh...The list goes on :)

"Toxicity" - System of a Down If you had to choose one song which showcases the Act of Creations sound, which song would it be? Sector F from The Uncertain Light album What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Travelling, spending time with friends, playing video games with my brother. Do you have any funny tour stories you can share with us? We are enjoying every show that we play and in almost each one of them there are funny things happening. I don't know where to start but I think our lead singer, Jess, jumping off the stage and not being able to climb back up because of the height of the stage was hilarious. :) Have you got any new releases or anything on the horizon you’d like to mention? I'm excited to share that our new album will be out next summer. This will be the first album that I recorded. Stay tuned, as it might be the breakthrough of Act of Creation!
